From Maple Sugaring to St. Patrick's Day to Purim and the arrival of spring, March is a great time to get out and enjoy Philly! Don’t miss our favorite kid-friendly events and activities in Philly this month.

Let Betsy kick off Women's History Month at her house in Philly, then sweeten up your life with sappy sugary goodness. At Peace Valley Nature Center or Fox Chase Farm, you can learn the secrets of making maple syrup on Maple Sugar Day. Add a delicious dash of tradition by indulging yourself with hamantaschen at Purim Fest, then enjoy a wee bit of Irish culture at Philly's St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  And top off the month with an exciting visit to Ice Dinosaurs at the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Experience the magic of Mardi Gras with your favorite Sesame Street characters, witness the wonder of the circus, and honor past presidents all in one weekend! Sesame Place kicks off their Mardi Gras celebrations this weekend, and Disney on Ice is back! Celebrate our Presidents at the Museum of American Revolution or The National Constitution Center and enjoy free admission to the Benjamin Franklin Museum.

It's almost here! The Super Bowl is just around the corner and the City of Brotherly Love is exploding with joy! Our Philadelphia Eagles are the NFC Champions and are ready to battle against the Kansas City Chiefs for the top prize. The Eagles may be underdogs, but nothing can break the spirit of Philly families throughout the Delaware Valley. So, put on your Eagles gear and get pumped up to cheer on the E-A-G-L-E-S (or E-L-G-S-E-S) on the road to victory at some of these fantastic events!

We've got you covered for the first month of 2025, kicking it off with the Mummers Parade on New Year's Day. Skate into the New Year with a bang! Bid farewell to 2024 and join the fun at the New Year's Eve Fireworks Celebration, complete with views of the fireworks presented by Rivers Casino. Enjoy early countdown celebrations, plus more fireworks displays at Peepsfest or Sesame Place.

New Year's Day brings the time-honored tradition of the Mummers Parade, a celebration that has delighted and entertained Philly for more than 120 years.
