A number of local museums are closed or closing early on December 24 due to the rains.

Locations who have announced schedule changes include:

• The LA Zoo is closed on December 24
• The Natural History Museum is closing at 3pm on December 24
• Knott's Berrry Farm is closed on December 24
• Six Flags Magic Mountain is closed on December 24
• Holidays Made Here at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is closed on December 24
• Legoland has activated its Rainy Day Promise for December 23 & 24.
• Hikari: Festival of Lights is closed through December 26.
• Mountain High Resort is closed temporarily due to weather conditions; no reopening date is set at this point.

And no doubt many others!

In addition, many LA attractions were already scheduled to be closed/ close early on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Families are advised to call or check the venue's website before heading out to an activity.
