EquestFest
Burbank's famous Equestrian Center hosts the many equestrians participating in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, at an annual show highlighting the horses' parade performances.
The horses and riders perform drills, dances, and trick riding; be prepared to leave humming that old Budweiser Beer Clydesdale tune.
The show runs from 12noon -2pm. Visitors are invited to meet the horses and riders after the show; visiting the stalls offers an opportunity to learn about the tack and the many different breeds, plus take advantage of some one-of-a kind photo opportunities.
Food and beverage concessions, as well as other horse and cowboy related shopping opportunities, are available on site. Parking at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center is $20 per car.Equestfest takes place rain or shine.
We count this event as one of the 100 things SoCal kids should get to do before they grow up—it's a real treat and a great way to see the best of the parade without braving the crowds!
