Go big on the 4th of July and celebrate with a day of activities in downtown Redwood City. There's a massive parade (the largest in the Bay Area) as well as a festival, pancake breakfast, and a drone show. 

Pancake breakfast is hosted by the fire department at $10 from 8 a.m.- 11 a.m. The festival is one event not to miss from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and includes arts & crafts, food vendors, and a kids area. Kids' activities include a magician show and face painting. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m
