Strasburg Railroad offers Strasburg Spooktacular. During this family-friendly journey, guests are transported to the picturesque Groff’s Grove while passing by farmland, pausing to hear the ghost of old LO&S #9, passing the graveyard at Carpenter’s Crossing, and finally arriving at Groff’s Grove.

At this destination, guests may disembark and enjoy a harvest festival including trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating, and themed arts and crafts. Snacks are available for purchase at Groff’s Grove. Spooktacular visitors can board any later train for the return trip back East Strasburg, where Fun Extras (Cranky Cars, Pint-sized Pufferbelly, Pump Car) operate until 4 PM and are are included in all Strasburg Spooktacular tickets. The first train departs the East Strasburg Station at 11:00 AM, and latest return trip departs Groff’s Grove at 6:30 PM. Fun Extras operate from 11:45 AM to 4:00 PM at the Station. Passengers are welcome to dress in family-friendly costumes.
