Hundreds of reenactors dress in Continental military uniforms as they make their way across the Delaware River in three replica Durham boats. The actual crossing ceremony begins at approximately 1 pm.

River crossings are contingent upon safe conditions for reenactors. If conditions do not permit the crossing to occur, ceremonies, speeches and commemorative activities still take place. It is recommended to arrive well in advance to get a good viewing location.
