Big Sunday's 14th Annual MLK Day Clothing Drive & Community Breakfast
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Big Sunday once again hosts an in-person event for volunteers, friends, and community members to help sort, count, and pack donated clothing to prepare it for nonprofit recipients.
Big Sunday is accepting new and gently used clothing. The event puts together a full 2,026 clothing kits for all kinds of nice folks who are struggling.
Participants can enjoy a community breakfast with friends, neighbors, and people from all walks of life who have come to share in this unique experience, which carries on Dr. Martin Luther King’s spirit of togetherness and community building.
The day includes fun arts & craft projects throughout the morning, as well as entertainment from the Blue Breeze Band.
Volunteers can also take part in Big Sunday’s Something in Common Project. Everyone is invited to meet someone new and find out what it is they have in common, then have a picture taken together.
Please note that the event this year is held at South Park Elementary School.
RSVP through the "sponsor & volunteer" link near the bottom of the event page.
