Step back in time for a little old-fashioned farm fun! The Children’s Museum of the East End (CMEE) is hosting Tin Smithing with Suffolk County Farms, and it’s a hands-on experience your kids will be buzzing about long after pickup.

In this cozy, 45-minute drop-off program, children will learn what life was like on a Long Island farm in the 1800s and lend a helping hand with a very important chore: tin smithing. Using real sheets of metal, hammers, and nails, kids will craft their very own luminary the old-fashioned way—and yes, they get to take their creation home (cue proud smiles!)
