Learn all about these majestic birds and make your own flying eagle craft at the Long Island Children's Museum in honor of National Save the Eagles Day. Since 1782, the bald eagle has been the United States’ national emblem and mascot. These amazing animals have an impressive wingspan of 7 feet and use their strong wings to soar 10,000 feet in the air.

This is a drop-in program, free with admission. It takes approximately 10 minutes and is yours to keep.
