Lunar New Year at Discovery Green
Enjoy downtown Houston’s original vibrant cultural celebration with traditional dance and drum performances from Han Narea and Dance of Asian America.
This year Discovery Green will also host an Asian market full of traditional toys, arts and cuisine for all to experience.
The evening caps off with an electrifying performance by Lee’s Golden Dragons. The group delivers an exhilarating acrobatic pole performance that awes the audience with its technical prowess. Watch as the lion team leaps fearlessly across towering poles – defying gravity while showcasing incredible strength, precision and tradition in motion. As the sun goes down, the park comes alive with Lee’s Golden Dragon’s glow-in-the-dark dragon dance.
Expect vibrant colors, rhythms and breathtaking choreography.
The Year of the Horse represents hard work, bravery, and resilience. These qualities will be on full display through the dedication of the performers, the vendors and the Houston community at Discovery Green.
