WHATS HAPPENING


Black History Month Storytime: Celebrate Black History Month with a special storytime led by Chief Deputy Mattie C. Provost that highlights the rich history, culture and contributions of Black voices throughout history.
When: At 11 am in Kidtropolis Town Center

Abiyoyo Twanda's Theatre on Wheels:
 Join Ms. Twanda as we compare and contrast African customs and traditions through this interactive performance. 
When: At 12 pm in Kidtropolis Town Center

MLK Speech Reenactment by Tanner Ellis: Experience a powerful Black History Month moment with a reenactment of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic speech, performed by Tanner Ellis.
When: At 1 pm in Kidtropolis Town Center

Hidden Figures Flying Cup Rockets: Create paper rockets inspired by the brilliant women of Hidden Figures and their contributions to space exploration.
When: From 10 am to 3 pm in Kidtropolis Town Center & Art Academy
