Come visit Sand Ridge Nature Center to learn more about the Underground Railroad that existed in the Calumet Region during the mid-1800s. Families can explore two self-guided trails throughout the day. 

Mama Edie will present two different experiential performances on February 21, or families can learn the stories of the Underground Railroad from the Midwest Underground Railroad Network in the afternoon on February 28.
