Celebrate ArtWeek with a fun-filled day as you discover how animals have influenced the many mediums of art.

Watch and ask questions directly to the artists from the New England Watercolor Society as they draw inspiration from the animals and paint their likenesses en plein air. Don’t miss Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Programs’ pop-up art exhibit featuring pieces created by students. Visitors can also meet a few animals up close during scheduled animal encounters and chat with zookeepers to learn more about the incredible species that call the Zoo home.
