290_img_3494.JPGWe're all itching to get outside, but the weather is still unpredictable enough that it's worth doing one more indoor activities post. every once in a while we like to update you with more free indoor activities like story times. You can see all our previous posts on free indoor activities, story times, and art classes in the Winter Fun Guide.

Nature Crafts in Prospect Park
Kids get to create toys, puppets, and other crafts out of natural materials with the guidance of teachers and naturalists from the Prospect Park Audubon Center. Every Saturday and Sunday, 1 ??“ 3 p.m. Totally green and totally free.

Giggle Storytimes
Free interactive storytime at Giggle baby stores in SoHo and the Upper East Side every Tuesday at 4pm. Free.

Brooklyn's hot new kid friendly food spot is now offering free storytimes, not once, not twice, but three times a week. Now you can overdose on stories and mac and cheese!

Scholastic Store Drop-In Arts and Crafts
Just drop by the Scholastic Store SoHo any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 4:30 for an arts and crafts workshop. There is a $5 materials fee for this program.

You Picasso Art Classes
At ???You Picasso??? art workshops, students learn various art techniques in pencil drawing, watercolor and tempera painting, sculpture, collage, and printing. Projects include gray scale graphite work, landscape color study, fresh-cut flower still life drawing, and expressive figure drawing. Open to children of all ages.

Every Friday 4-5PM, South Bridge Towers Community Room, downstairs. Across the courtyard from Squires. Fulton and Gold St.
