What We're Reading

Me
200908230839.jpg

I've been fascinated to learn how the brain's executive function challenges many kids in school and at home.

The Big Kid

My daughter loved this so much, we read it aloud to the whole family. Then moved on to the next one.

The LIttle Kid

A wonderful story with great illustrations and an environmental message that's not preachy or scary.

Win a Catered Dinner for 10 (plus kids) from Susie's Supper Club

This week we've been posting about fun stuff to do with your kids all summer long and giving away great prizes. But let's not forget, it's summer for grown-ups too. If you've been digging through our Summer Activity Guide, running all over the city trying to keep one step ahead of the heat and bored kid syndrome, then we have a treat for you (are you sitting down?).

We're giving away 10, count 'em, 10 dinner parties catered by Susie's Supper Club for you and nine of your friends plus the kids! What could be better for a summer evening than chilling out with friends over a meal you didn't cook (or pay for)? I can't think of anything.

Now our Summer Activity Guide really is the perfect companion for you all summer, filled with great ideas for things to do with your kids during the days and the chance to win a Susie Supper Club dinner party at night. We're going to be giving away one catered dinner party for 10 every week throughout the entire summer. All you have to do is visit our Summer Activity Guide to find the details.

Susie's Supper Club delivers pre-made dinners for busy New York City families, specializing in natural, local, and organic ingredients prepared from recipes designed to appeal to kids and adults alike.

Susie Supper Club Dinner Party Giveaway Details:
We will select one winner each week from July 6- September 6, 2009.

Each week, instructions for entry will be updated on our Summer Activity Guide page, so make sure to check back.

Winners will receive a catered dinner for up to ten parents and their kids. Winners can choose from Susie’s Supper Club’s Family Meals options: Beef Bourguignon, Chicken Tikka Masala or Vegetarian Lasagna, with accompanying side dish, and capped off with Susie’s dessert.

Dinner must be redeemed by October 31, 2009.

Delivery to Manhattan or Brooklyn only, sorry.

TO ENTER THIS GIVEAWAY: VISIT OUR SUMMER ACTIVITY GUIDE FOR INSTRUCTIONS.
