Join our friends and neighbors at Madison Square Park for a morning of live music, food, and fun activities. Come visit the apple seeds team – we’ll be leading build it! break it! fix it! projects, dancing to live music, handing out giveaways at our main table, and running raffles at the boutique tent.

Children read aloud to a registered therapy dog and licensed handler. This program is designed to encourage a love of reading in a fun and warm environment. Recommended for ages 5 and older Preregistration is required.

bouncy castle and bouncy slide;
train ride;
life-size Candyland course;
pumpkin and cupcake decorating;
sand art;
obstacle course;

Mercy Corps and Children for Children will empower young people and their families to take action and become heroes in the fight against global hunger. Join us and learn how youth of all ages can make a difference at home and around the world!

Featuring interactive activity stations with UNFAO’s Growing Connection, Heifer International, PlayPumps International, The Full Belly Project, Media That Matters, City Harvest and music by the Berklee College of Music. Snacks will be served.

Come experience music, rides, face painting and more on Saturday, October 18th at the Roosevelt Island Kidfest at the beautiful RiverWalk Commons (455 Main Street). An Uncle Rock performance with his band, is a joyous, interactive, adult-friendly experience that uses music as a means of bringing folks young and old together.

Take the F train to the Roosevelt Island subway stop or the Roosevelt Island Tram (60th and 2nd Ave) step right into the fun!

Celebrate National Italian Heritage Month with an afternoon of traditional Italian song and dance performed by the Coro d’Italia. Visitors of all ages can join in and dance the Tarantella—the dance of the spider—and play along with the Tamburello or the Tammorra Nepoletana (Italian tambourines). The Coro d’Italia, recognized as the first ensemble dedicated solely to Italian culture in America, has performed in the New York Metropolitan Area for nearly 70 years, presenting songs from all regions of Italy.
