This summer, London artist Chris Long is celebrating childhood with This is Fun, a solo show at gallery hanahou featuring his new original works of children in their natural environments. With bright acrylics, Chris captures the exuberant feelings of children when adults have stepped out of the picture and kids are free to be themselves.

Pa’Lo Monte: Dominican Concert Sprint Foundation Family Performance Saturday • August 16 • 2:00 PM Pa’Lo Monte performs the traditional rhythms and melodies of some of New York’s newest immigrants from the Dominican Republic and Haiti, keeping alive the musical styles of Palos, Salve, Gaga, Congos, and Sarandunga rhythms that have been passed down for generations. Presented in association with Community Works and in conjunction with the exhibition Catholics in New York, 1808-1946.
