We went to San Francisco with the kids for their spring recess and took 52 Adventures in San Francisco, which is a deck of 52 cards/adventures to see the sites of San Francisco and Frommer's San Francisco with Kids that has great information about preparing for a trip to San Francisco, where to eat, stay, shop, etc. Little Jet Set is also great resrouce for activities, games, puzzles and toys to occupy and entertain your kids on planes and in cars. And, I love their luggage and bags too!
