Mommy Poppins is New York City's favorite free online resource for parents and kids where you'll discover the inside skinny on where and what to do, see, learn, play, make, read, splash, eat, run amok, party and envy in the New York area with kids. I hope you like the site. Feel free too email me if you have any questions.
thanks for posting this.
thanks for posting this. sorry i'm late reading this - i just read about this today on a blog that i linked from several other blogs so now i don't remember how i even got here. :) but i posted a link to it on my blog so i can find it again.
do you know of any activities (or were there any in the book) for children who seem to get overly scared of noises and/or things that move? my son is almost 2 and still freaks out about the vacuum cleaner and also does not like it if we use the windshield wipers. we made the mistake of getting him the TMX elmo for christmas last year, and he would just scream and scream when it danced. he still doesn't want us to turn it on. other than that he is fine.
thanks again!
