Thank you so much for this post - I am going to bring a copy to my son's preschool and use a lot of these suggestions at home as well.
Dear RookieMom Heather - my son was a biter too, and now that I know about these sensory issues many kids have, I really think it is all related. He never bit when upset or angry, only out of love and happiness! It was so hard on us, especially when he would bite other kids. He stopped doing it at 2 1/2, so I bet your son will soon too. Hang in there; I know it's not easy but he is 4 1/2 now, and smart, sensitive, funny, and FABULOUS!
