Join the Museum as they prepare for “America’s Game” in grand fashion! They will have activities all week leading up to the big game on Saturday. Go Navy, Beat Army!
Wednesday, December 6
- “Ready, Aim, Fire!” Field Goal Challenge: 11:00 am- 4:00 pm
- Use Alka-Seltzer cannons to fire a “cannon ball” through the uprights
- Team Spirit Maker Activities: 10:00 am- 5:00 pm
- Make Navy- or Army-themed pennants, pom-poms, and windsocks
Thursday, December 7
- Pearl Harbor Day Rememberance Event: 10:00 am- 1:00 pm
- Join the National Park Service, US Navy and the USS Constitution Museum for a public ceremony to pay honor to the events of Pearl Harbor. The ceremony will conclude with a wreath laying ceremony peirside of USS Cassin Young.
- Letters of Gratitude: 10:00 am- 5:00 pm
- As the Museum commemorates Pearl Harbor Day, stop by and write a note of gratitude to active duty military personnel.
Friday, December 8
- “Ready, Aim, Fire!” Field Goal Challenge: 11:00 am- 4:00 pm
- Use Alka-Seltzer cannons to fire a “cannon ball” through our uprights
- Team Spirit Maker Activities: 10:00 am- 5:00 pm
- Make Navy- or Army-themed pennants, pom-poms, and windsocks!
- Patriot Games Relay Race: 1:30 pm- 2:30 pm
- Cheer on the Navy Midshipmen and Army Cadets as they compete in a friendly relay race starting in Charlestown Navy Yard to the top of Bunker Hill and back. For more information on the Patriot Games schedule click here.
- USS Constitution Tree Lighting & Gingerbread Decorating: 3:00 pm- 6:00 pm
- The Museum will be hosting a gingerbread decorating activity from 3:00 pm- 6:00 pm. Kits are $2.00 and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
- Join the crew of USS Constitution as they celebrate the holidays with their annual Christmas tree lighting at 4:30 pm.
Saturday, December 9
